With its unique dual-detector tube design, the IONSCAN 500DT can simultaneously detect and identify trace amounts of explosives and narcotics during one quick analysis. Its design also allows for the detection of a wider range of trace explosives.
Other features include a large color touch screen display for ease-of-use, built-in printer for instant printing and regenerative air purification system for reduced consumable costs.
The system uses the same trusted Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS) technology in the IONSCAN 400B.
