Suprex® Ethernet Supervised Reader-Extender
The Suprex® Ethernet Supervised Reader-Extender extends the distance between card readers and the control panel using already installed Ethernet.
The SPX-7200 takes the Wiegand signal at the card reader and adapts it to
send via Ethernet to the control panel.
Part of the Suprex Supervised Reader-Extender series, the SPX-7200 is a pair of units which includes Central and Remote units. The Central unit's built-in relay supervises the Central-Remote connection. AES Encryption is available upon request.
Compatible with Wiegand, MagStripe and F/2F-based access control panels. Field-configurable for use with Wiegand keypad readers. Install up to 328 feet between Suprex and router/switch, depending on environment / installation.
The SPX-7200 can be expanded to connect up to 7 additional readers over the same Ethernet connection, using Cypress EXP-2000 Expansion Modules.
