HR16 provides a convenient and economical way of converting analog video signal into a digital video signal. HR16 supports both analog and HD-TVI analog video input signals and can utilize existing coax cable, RG59, whether you want to use existing analog or install new HD-TVI camera such as i3’s AM42R or AM52R (pending release).
Each HD-TVI analog (High Definition analog) channel viewed through HR16 supports dual streaming: independently-configured Main and Sub-stream. Dual streaming allows recording high-resolution images, while streaming lower-resolution stream in environments, where limited bandwidth is available. HR16 supports real-time live viewing at 30 frames per second on all resolutions: 4CIF for analog cameras and 1 or 2 mega pixel for HD-TVI inputs.
In addition to the HR16 encoder, the user must also purchase the analog channel licenses, available in bundles or singly, to enable the desired number of inputs that can then be added to SRX-Pro Server.
Analog Channel licensing is supported by SRX-Pro Server v.3.3.3. When using HR16 with an existing HVR/NVR, SRX-Pro Server software must be upgraded to v.3.3.3.
SRX-Pro Server is capable of supporting up to 2 (two) HR16 encoders. When using one HR16 encoder and no additional IP inputs, you can choose to connect HR16 directly to the SRX-Pro Server through a provided CAT5 network cable or through an i3-recommended Gigabit switch. When using two HR16 encoders, each one must be connected to the same Gigabit switch.
