We are the parents of one of Team USA Woman’s Gymnastics Gold Medalists. Our daughter is 16 years of age and is currently on the Dancing with the Stars tour along with 10 other famous and highly recognizable professional dancers. Prior to our daughter accepting to be on the tour, we had great reservations and concerns for her security, knowing that we or other family members could not be with her the entire time of the tour. After meeting James, as he would be the head of security and in charge of insuring that all dancers and celebrities are safe, we felt at ease knowing that our daughter would be in very good hands. We were fortunate to have travelled to nine of the fifty different venues to meet with our daughter and noticed that Mr. Cameron was everywhere. During the important meet and greet functions, James was always near, ensuring her and the other dancers safety and tending to any needs they may have. Speaking to my daughter she also assures us that anything she needed, James was there. He would always escort her to and from the bus or hotel and was always there to do crowd control after a show. He also identified those individuals that would be asking for autographs in order to sell items instead of being true fans and either have them removed or tell the dancers about them so she could bypass them. He also looked after us and the rest of the family when we would visit. He would escort us anywhere we needed or wanted to go and he would always insure we were safe and taken care of. James has been a blessing for us knowing that our daughter is in very competent hands. We feel that James is professional, and has been the perfect choice for the job. For our daughter, we would not choose anyone else.

For our 2015-2016 tour we engaged the services of Security Concepts Group primarily in the response to the US Homeland Security advice of a credible terrorist threat to one celebrity cast member. Our secondary aim was to provide security for our 12 additional high profile cast members. James was very quickly understood the unique demands of this particular tour and established operating procedures designed to provide a secure environment, but without negatively impacting the cast or audience experience. James coordinated local venue security teams both in backstage areas and during parts of the show when the cast interacted with the audience. The show and touring party provided many challenges in terms of venues that varied considerably and large group of cast members to provide protection for, a very real threat balanced with the need to let the audience feel that they’ve been able to get close to the cast. As a result of James’ work we were able to avoid having a single incident on tour, and did not receive a single complaint from the cast or audience members. James was able to quickly gain the trust and friendship of our cast and crew members, and became an indispensable and deeply appreciated addition to the tour. The debrief James gave me at the conclusion of the tour will inform many area’s of planning changes for future tours. I would not hesitate to recommend James and Security Concepts Group.
